Yamm Buffet

Formerly Jimmy Chungs when I last visited, the layout is similar but it's now a world buffet with pizza, macaroni, sushi and still plenty of Chinese options. Styling was pretty interesting and stuff were very friendly and upfront about costing and time limits. The deserts were done fantastically in my opinion, cut up into little bitesize chunk which is a stroke of genuine since by the end of your buffet you're too stuff to manage lots of dessert but still want to try it all.

After reading all the negative reviews of this restaurant I knew this place was for me. Just take a look at the slop on offer. It's utterly glorious. There aren't many places in Dundee where you can stuff yourself silly and then suffer for the next 2 days on the bog, but this place manages it with flying colours. I will definitely be back.

This was the 1st time I had been back to Yamms in quite a few months. During my last visit, I had a few off the chicken dishes, and the chicken tasted/smelled off.. so it put me off returning. (I must admit that I should have complained to either a staff member or management, but I just paid and left, vowing not to return.. which was silly on my part because I didn't give them honest feedback. I was in Dundee city centre yesterday and decided to try Yamms again, and I'm glad to say that I enjoyed all the dishes that I had on my plate .. these were the same chicken dishes that I had had issues with previously. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the food was because, even though we arrived at 12 when they just opened the doors, a few of the dishes were warm, not hot... but i put this down to being a buffet restaurant and being under heat lamps.. the dishes were still hot enough for me (as i don't like piping hot food which burns my tongue/mouth ).. The staff are very friendly and remove finished plates very quickly and politely. To finish, i will say that I'm glad i took the chance to try Yamms again as I enjoyed my lunch .

Myself & a colleague were working in Dundee this week and after a very long drive we wanted LOTS of food & Yamm buffet certainly delivered! Loads of food options including Chinese, Indian and Italian cuisine. All options were hot & tasty and after 4 big plates of food we both rolled out of there not knowing if we would ever be hungry again. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

First visit with family, and I wasn't disappointed . Wow, what a selection of wonderful food and plentiful. Something here for everyone. Great atmosphere. Friendly Staff . Lovely decor for a relaxing time . We'll with a visit .

One of the best buffet experiences in Dundee! Aside from being greeted by a rude person at the entrance, all the other staff were really nice and helpful. There were plenty of options ranging from Chinese and Indian to Italian cuisine. The dessert options were also quite good. Considering the price range, the variety of dishes the restaurant offers is amazing!

I love the buffet they provide and i just went today like after lockdown. They check the temperature and they provide hand gloves too for serving own plate. My vegetarian plate down there. Looks yamm right I would love to visit again. Edited my review after having my Nonveg plate.

I can't get enough of Yamm... especially their pork dumplings thing...the food is amazing and you get more for the money spent.
